What's New - Highlights

ArtMatic Voyager 2 has a host of great new features. The most radical advance is our new DFRM (Distance Field Ray Marching) technology that enables ArtMatic Voyager to render ArtMatic-designed 3D objects, volumetric clouds and lights. ArtMatic Voyager is no longer just a tool for rendering landscapes but also for rendering non-landscape 3D art and objects. The ArtMatic 5/ArtMatic Voyager 2 engine features components for designing a huge variety of objects and landscape features--including arches, caves and vegetation. ArtMatic Voyager is capable of creating stunning video at resolutions exceeding hi-def. The examples on this page only hint at the range and quality of the animation that you can create. In order to keep download times reasonable, these examples are all compressed and size-limited. When you render video, every single frame is as high-resolution and pristine as the still images that ArtMatic Voyager creates.
