Image and Video Editing in Apple’s Metal

ArtMixer Photo is an image editor and composition tool based on Apple’s Metal GPU and underlying dictionary techs. It is streamlined for working with AI image generation tools but can also be used to post-process any image, or create graphic designs from scratch as well. It is entirely vectorized (all graphic items, actions and filters & effects are stored) and it supports infinite undos. You can have dozens of complex multi-shaded objects all in real time which makes ArtMixer an incredibly valuable tool for image production. 

(This application is currently in testing – watch for release information soon! Requires macOS 13 and later, but the latest build runs on macOS 11 but we want to be sure as it has different Apple functions)

The app is not only useful in image compositing, but graphic design in general.

ArtMixer Video is a companion to the photo app and the successor to vQuartz on Carbon Mac OS X, vTrack on PowerPC, and Videodelic on Classic Mac OS. Stay tuned in as the past becomes the present.
